Development features


The teaching, teaching staff and equipment of the Department have always been affirmed by all walks of life. It has won the first class evaluation of the Ministry of education in 1994, and passed the international certification of engineering and science and technology education in 1996 and 105 academic years. According to the development trend of science and technology, the characteristics of regional industry and the employment orientation of students, we should plan the professional courses which are in line with the trend of the times and the future trend. We should focus on the fields of process technology, material engineering, biochemical engineering and green technology, and focus on the development of material technology and green technology.

 

Professional teachers: 6 professors, 5 associate professors, 1 assistant professor, including 11 doctors. All members have practical experience in the industry, are dedicated and have a high degree of teaching enthusiasm and positive research attitude. Teachers interact closely with the industry and are committed to project research, construction and education cooperation and technical services.

Instruments and equipment: the Department's laboratory equipment is perfect. It has been ranked first in the evaluation of the Ministry of education over the years. It has also been awarded the special fund of the Ministry of education. The specialized laboratories include: optoelectronic semiconductor film processing laboratory, nanomaterials characteristic laboratory, pollution prevention laboratory, high molecular and special chemical laboratory, instrument analysis laboratory, unit operation laboratory and chemical engineering The laboratory includes internship laboratory, electronic materials laboratory, electrochemical analysis laboratory, fermentation engineering laboratory, synthetic chemistry laboratory, catalyst and nanomaterials laboratory, biomass and energy laboratory, thermodynamic and phase balance laboratory, cosmetics preparation laboratory, etc.

Basic courses: with flexible teaching methods and practical exercises, students can establish the basic concepts of science and engineering step by step.


Professional courses: in addition to chemical and material courses, students can also choose courses and professional training in different characteristic fields, such as optoelectronic semiconductor process, specialized materials, biochemical engineering, environmental energy and other professional elective courses, which can be extended to other emerging related application fields.
